31Mark Murphree is a Software Architect who leads the development of the proprietary LiTMS property tax practice management system. Mark grew up in the Midland/Odessa area of West Texas, spending time working the oil fields before graduating with honors from the University of Texas, Permian Basin with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

After earning credentials as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer and a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, Mark made information systems his career. After starting at Bass Enterprises Production Company in Midland, Mark moved to Burr Wolff, LP. Mark rose to Director of Software Development and was the key force behind the development of their PTS Corporate property tax software.

Mark joined Popp Hutcheson in 2011, where he brought his decades of experience in property tax software to bear in building the LiTMS system. Mark continues his work in spite of the ever-present call of his bass boat and the fish waiting in the lake behind his home.
