Chris Gibson is a principal and the firm’s chief technology officer. Chris started off in technology in the 1980’s, when that was actually a new thing. After discovering he was a better manager than programmer, Chris joined the ranks of senior engineering management at tech companies including Peter Norton Computing and Symantec. Frustrated that his years of education in business administration were going to waste, Chris made the jump to the C-level positions, first in technology firms, then in real estate development. After years living in Orlando, Chris was ready for a cooler climate and relocated with his family to Austin. He joined Popp Hutcheson in 2007 to keep our internal business, financial, and systems infrastructure on the leading edge. Chris oversees the development of our internal LiTMS practice management system.

Chris attended the prestigious Polytechnic School in Pasadena, California, and was a National Merit Scholar upon graduation from high school. Chris graduated from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance. He is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America, spending his weekends camping with his son, searching to see just where that cooler climate is hiding.
